Because Latvia’s jazz history has been rarely studied so far, jazz musician and teacher Indriķis Veitners created an extensive book about it which Raugs had the honor to design.

The idea of the concept was to create a modern view of jazz history, while showing the full spectrum of improvisational delight in the rhythms of jazz. In the book, this feeling is shown through color — monochrome images in conjunction with violet and small accents of bright yellow.

In 2020, the book has won a Bronze Award 2020 by International Institute for Information Design (IIID).
